Turning the corner

Today’s the first day since last Tuesday that I haven’t woken up feverish, which may be the result of last night being the first night since Monday that I’ve actually slept through the night. Gotta love the antibiotics my doc prescribed yesterday. Boy, it feels great to rejoin the living!

I actually felt the fever abate about 7pm yesterday. I knew it was gone when all of a sudden the thought of knitting didn’t make me nauseous, and i got busy with Solis (which had been sitting limply on my lap all afternoon).

I’ve got about 1.5 more inches to go on the back before I start the short sleeves. I love this lace mesh pattern.

Today I’m still going to take it easy. Thing 3 has some Girl Scout cookie selling obligations (that the Mister has kindly volunteered to handle). If all goes well, and energy and appetite return, we’ll head out for a hot tofu dinner this evening. Any lingering crud should be flattened by a spicy Korean meal.

  1. I am glad you are feeling better too.

However … you must rest more ok. This has the potential for relapse. (That happened to me, and a lot of others this past winter). So … even if you are feeling better, try not to do too much for the next day or so. (yes…I am mom-ing you *smiles*)
