I’m still not finished with the back.  I had grand plans to finish up the back today, but after a flurry of early morning activity, I promptly took a 3 hour nap in the middle of the day.  Now I’m getting my exercise fix by watching The Amazing Race.

Although tomorrow marks the last week of March, I think Solis may be a bit optimistic a project for wearing anytime soon–we’re due for some more “wintery mix.”  As long as I’m sidelined with this stupid injury, I’m ok with the terrible weather, but I am beginning to miss my near daily workouts.  I’m not quite ready to get on the recumbent bike yet (the elephant is still sitting on my chest), and to be honest, I’m a little frustrated that after two complete weeks of doing nothing, I don’t really feel any improvement.

Day by day.

  1. Is it cotton yard?I really like the sleeve, and the stitching.Sorry you’re still unwell.I can empathize with the chest infection.I started to get them again when I started really getting into running.Very tiring.

    • It’s a 50/50 blend of cotton and wool. I like this blend because it can be machine-washed on the gentle cycle, but the wool gives the fiber some elasticity that cotton just doesn’t have. And it’s light-weight enough for spring/summer wear. (although these days with the overuse of air conditioners in the US, I find I’m wearing more wool, just a finer gauge, in the summer).
